“The trick to producing the best quality meat, is to think about the animal, says Peter. You have to think about how the animals think. When constructing the farm you have to consider the animal. Fit the farm to the animal and not the other way around. Another important factor in raising the best animals is to keep them on a good balanced diet, filled with lots of protein. So, they have cleared out the area behind the animal pens to create pastures that are used to grow pig food. This system does not require a lot of labor and helps increase efficiency."
